OLD-TIMERS SOCCER LEAGUE MISSION

The league provides competitive soccer for athletes over age 35 throughout the city of Hamilton and surrounding areas. The league has grown from a hand full to over 40 teams playing in 5 separate divisions. The divisions support the player's need for different levels of competition. The League has been in operation for over 40 years and is affiliated with the (O.S.A.)  Ontario Soccer Association through the (H&D) Hamilton and District Soccer Association. The league will work to provide up-to-date information for our membership. We will be updating this website throughout the season. Please take time to view our pages and provide us feed backup.  Have a great visit.

It is the mission of the Old-timers Soccer League (OTSL) to provide a positive recreational and competitive soccer experience for player and coaches. We emphasize team commitment, fair play and sportsmanship above winning.  I will respect the Old-timers League Rules, and show respect to my fellow teammates, opponents and officials. I will respect the zero tolerance policy of the City and the League.

It is our goal to create an environment that will benefit the individual as well as the team. We believe a positive team experience will ensure the long term viability and growth of the Old-timers Soccer League.

Rowan's Law

By dre 12/11/2019, 2:30pm EST

Important Read on Concussion Protocol

The Province of Ontario, at the present time, is the only Province in Canada to enact Concussion Safety legislation throughout its sport system. The purpose of Rowan’s Law legislation is to promote culture change and make participation in amateur competitive sport safer. There are no enforcement or monitoring provisions in Rowan’s Law. It is up to entities and individuals to ensure that they comply with the laws of Ontario.

Requirements for Sport Organizations

In order for the Old-timers League to comply with the new Concussion Code of Conduct we have added the Concussion Protocol to the online registration forms. Our members can read more by clicking on the following link.
