League Mission

It is the mission of the Old-timers Soccer League (OTSL) to provide a positive recreational and competitive soccer experience for player and coaches. We emphasize team commitment, fair play and sportsmanship above winning.  I will respect the Old-timers League Rules, and show respect to my fellow teammates, opponents and officials. I will respect the zero tolerance policy of the City and the League.

It is our goal to create an environment that will benefit the individual as well as the team. We believe a positive team experience will ensure the long term viability and growth of the Old-timers Soccer League.

 Expectations

This Code of Conduct agreement is a written contract between players, coaches, managers and the Old-timers Soccer League to abide by the rules and regulations of the game. We expect all parties to maintain a positive attitude and uphold the ideals of fair play and sporting behaviour. This contract is more than just paper, it is the essence of our goals and objectives and thus, adherence to it is of primary importance. To participate in our League’s activities, all players, coaches and managers are required to agree to and sign this Code of Conduct before being registered to the OTSL.

 Zero Tolerance Policy: All players, coaches, and team managers are expected to demonstrate sporting behaviour before, during and after games. The League has adopted a “Zero Tolerance Policy” towards verbal and/or physical abuse and/or harassment by anyone involved on a team in any capacity. 

We also expect the team management to advise and control their players and fans and respect the calls made by the League Referees.
